Hi. If you don’t already know this one, you’re going to love it!
When you surf the web, you likely use Internet Explorer or Firefox (Firefox is a free, open source browser that’s faster and – I think – better than IE. You can get Firefox by clicking here).
Anyway, when you want to go to a web address, you might go to the address bar and type www.yahoo.com or even http://www.yahoo.com.
Here’s the tip: click in the address bar once, it should highlight what’s there so you can type over it. Then type the one-word domain you want, hold the ctrl key and then press ‘enter’.
‘ctrl-enter’ wraps the word you typed with ‘http://www.’ on one side and ‘.com’ on the other! So type a word, press ‘ctrl enter’ and you’re off and surfing!
Have a nice weekend!
